Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and television host popular as presenter for The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up within Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl is from a family which has experienced a variety of troubles. Sheryl spent a large portion of her growing up helping her younger sister Frankie, who had polio. As a teenager, she faced many difficulties with her mom. Sheryl says that at the past, her mother would stab her father because he was becoming too close to her. Sheryl was drafted into the military upon her college graduation. Her TV professional career began in 1992, as an actor on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of her own show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started being for The Talk as co-host. In addition, she has played fictional characters in shows such as Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
